[Flash 10 is required to watch video]

This weekend we played a match against last years number five, Aalborg. Their team had been weakened because we signed their two middle blockers Kristian and Hafsteinn aka. the Icelandic twins.

The match got under way and they startet with a bang, and before we started playing they were leading 2-7. But we got back in and ended the 25-22 thanks to good serving by Brett Perrine and some good blocking by Kasey Crider.

In the second game we got off to a much better start. We played good, but we still didn’t get close to our potential. Late in the second set I was substituted out, Paul Glissov replaced me. Game score: 25-28.

Between game two and three Flemming, Josh and I was replaced so that the entire team got to play. Despite some mistakes they did well and won the set 25-22.

During two sets I took 10 points: 8 in attack and to aces. I am very satisfied with my attacking stats, 67% kill and no errors.

But the best part of the game was by far seeing my entire family on the bleachers cheering!
